2027 Summer Camp  Camp Bert Adams

Troop 431G is heading to Camp Bert Adams, June 6-12, 2027, for a full week of adventure in Covington, Georgia - and the countdown starts now.Nestled on 1,300 acres just south of Atlanta, Bert Adams is one of the Southeast's premier Scouts BSA summer camps. Picture this: Scouts riding bikes along shaded camp roads to the air-conditioned Love Dining Hall, a swimming pool, the Langford Nature Center, a beautiful lake, a climbing tower, and full archery, shotgun, and rifle ranges all within reach. This is camping that feels the way summer should - adventurous, modern, and built for Scouts.The program lineup punches well above the weight of a typical week. World-class aquatics and shooting sports, plus handicrafts, outdoor skills, cultural studies, and nature and ecology. For our first-year campers, the famous Rawhide program gives new Scouts a confident, structured start to their Scouting journey - a foundation that pays off every summer after. For our older Scouts, there are merit badge opportunities across the board and the kind of high-adventure experiences that turn a week into a story they'll tell for years. Rank advancement, leadership moments, friendships that outlast the drive home - it all happens here.For our adult leaders, the Ashley Leaders Training Center means a comfortable home base, real connectivity, and the chance to learn alongside volunteers from troops across the region.
